What you get once you have completed our online application:

  • Completed paperwork to enable a property settlement agreement to be signed by the parties involved.
  • A complete DIY Kit to enable the court lodgement of the agreement, including:
    • The Super Fund consent if Superannuation is being divided; and
    • Court lodgement documents, including covering letters/instructions.
  • Once the Court order is made, you will arrange the transfer of the assets.

The Peace of Mind Option

  • Return of completed paperwork to you to apply signatures to your property settlement agreement.
  • A complete explanation of the property settlement process, including superannuation splitting.
  • Unlimited telephone/email time with our experienced team to make sure your documents are correct and you have the guidance you need throughout the process.
  • Liaison to arrange the signing of your paperwork.
  • Arrangement of consent from the Super Fund (if applicable).
  • Lodgement of the paperwork, on your behalf, with the Court to have the property settlement order made.
  • If required, we can arrange the actual transfer of the assets, e.g. house/vehicle, for an extra fee to be quoted.
  • If applicable, we receive the sealed paperwork from the Court and send it with a notice to the Super Fund to allow the superannuation division to occur.
  • If applicable, explain the options for which Super Fund you choose to receive the transfer.
  • Confirmation at every step until the property settlement is completed.

What you get once you have completed our online application:

  • Telephone/email contact time with our experienced team to make sure your information and documents supplied are accurate and complete.
  • We will assess if mediation is appropriate and if so, will liaise with and brief the mediator on the required information/documents.
  • You then attend the mediation, including the preliminary intake session, for which the mediator will charge their fee as per the quote given.
  • If an agreement is reached after mediation, we can then prepare your formal Court documents and undertake the steps for the property division process set out in the Peace of Mind Option to complete your settlement:
    • Return of completed paperwork to you to apply signatures to your property settlement agreement;
    • Liaison to arrange the signing of your paperwork;
    • Arrangement of consent from the Super Fund (if applicable);
    • Lodgement of the paperwork, on your behalf, with the Court to have the property settlement order made;
